[Siren Menage Everlasting Erotic Cowboy Sci-Fi Menage a Trois Romance, M/F/M] Brandon and Bolton are brothers living in the Border Lands. Heather hides in their trailer to escape slavery, but has she traded one cage for another? The brothers are more than happy to help her out and take her home to their Border Land Farm. They work to convince her they are good guys and won't hurt her. Bolton knows he has fallen in love with her, but Brandon isn't sure she sees him as more than her keeper or owner. He wants her to feel the same love she feels for his brother, so he pulls away. It takes nearly losing her to a wolf attack for Brandon to realize he's being childish in asking for her to treat him differently than she does his brother. She loves them both equally, and he has almost lost the best thing that ever happened to him. ** A Siren Erotic Romance

4 starsThis was a very good story. I really liked Heather, Brandon and Bolton and enjoyed their story. This is the first story I've read by this author and based off this I'm sure I'll try more of her work in the future.
In this story's world there have been plagues and multiple other problems that have taken down the world governments and killed off 2/3rds of the population. Women are scarce and with little to no government, most women are little more than slaves. I'm not sure how long after all the apocalyptic incidents the story takes place in but it seems to be about 10 years or so because the characters remember growing up in normal times.
Heather grew up in Mississippi to foster parents. She lost them in the plagues and while traveling with other survivors she's kidnapped by some men and sold to a brothel in Barter town. She isn't happy about what's been forced on her and after being there for a month she manages to escape. She hides out in the trailer of some men heading out of town hoping to escape to something better.
Brandon and Bolton are brothers and have a farm a ways away from Barter town. They are pretty self sufficient but need supplies and to trade for what they need and happen to be on a trip in to town when they catch a woman in their trailer. They know they shouldn't get involved but can't stomach sending her back to the brothel as they hate what's being done to the women there.
Brandon and Bolton let Heather come along with them and promise to take care of her. Along the way home, they stop in some wolf-infested territory that has stores for looting and get her clothing and supplies. Heather figures she'll have to provide the men with sex for safety but figures it's better to be with 2 men of her choosing than being forced to take any man sent to her. She's very surprised when Brandon and Bolton don't jump her and make it clear that they wont take anything she's unwilling to give. This relaxes her and she starts to find her place on the farm, helping around the house and with the garden and farm animals. She has sex with them pretty quickly and things start pretty good. The problem is that there are wolves and other dangers that could hurt her and Brandon and Bolton are very protective, wanting to escort her anywhere not close to the house. This becomes a bone of contention (even though logically she knows it's not safe) and at one point when the guys can't find her and freak out, Heather blows up at them and tells them she feels like she's more of a possession and not someone who's cared about.
With some time, Heather gets past her issues with her limited safety and restrictions and actually comes to care about both Brandon and Bolton. Brandon took her words to heart though and believes she only accepts him because she has to and doesn't really want him. He starts pulling back from her emotionally (even though he has fallen for her) and Heather is hurt by it. This goes on for a while and although it's a stupid misunderstanding I liked it because it's believable. So much of the time love is foolish and we see what we expect and not always what's there because we let fear rule us. This story was a prime example of this and it caused some major upheaval for this threesome. Bolton ends up torn between the 2 people he cares about most because he knows they both love each other and can't get them both to see what's going on. As the description notes, Heather gets hurt in a wolf attack and Brandon realizes the error of his ways. Once Heather recovers Brandon has to be honest with her about his feelings and mistakes and hope she can forgive him. Heather doesn't forgive immediately but does before too long and the trio makes good on their new start. We leave the story with a happy surprise as the trio settles in to their HEA.
This was a very enjoyable story. I liked the characters and the plot was relatively simple but it was interesting enough to keep my attention to the end. I'm planning to read more of this series in the future. I'd recommend this book for anyone interested in post-apocalyptic menages. Thumbs up. :D

Belonging to Them [Men of the Border Lands 1] Siren Publishing Menage Everlasting edition by Marla Monroe Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
I like futuristic, apocalyptic stories and I don't mind suspending my imagination. But, seriously, what woman, who has apparently been repeatedly raped and shared around with many men would jump into bed with two more? I think it would take longer than 8 hours to accustom herself and relax even to the PRESENCE of two men, let alone have sex with them....
The rest of the story was pretty good, if a little weak with the writing.
I really got into this. I was able to feel everything see went through and really identified with the characters. It was very well written.
it's a good book but not great . something to entertain on a slow weekend the writing is just ok
Men of the borderland is a new series for me, and Marla Monroe is moving up my list of favorite authors
This was a quick and enjoyable read for me, filled with sexy men who are Border Land brothers, great sex, and an o.k. heroine. The storyline is pretty predictable but is comfortable in a favorite, old sweater sort of way. Once Heather, a former slave in a brothel, is rescued by Brandon and Bolton, after she hides in their trailer to escape, life changes as they know it and they become a family of sorts in the post-apocalyptic world. Of course, like with any new changes in life, adjustment is hard and the three of them go through some rough times together. Throughout it all, they have incredible sex, develop feelings for each other, and adjust to life comfortably together on their Border Land Farm at their own pace. Eventually, they overcome their differences and many conflicts, and even open their hearts for another eye-popping, life-changing event towards the end. Overall, this was a very enjoyable and realistically believable menage a trois romantic scenario and I look forward to reading more of Marla Monroe's other books in the near future.
