I have read Frank Peretti’s books on the unseen realm as told from a Christian perspective. I consider Alastair’s books just as good in terms of conveying the truth to modern man that he is the midst of the struggle for the ages, namely, the battle for our hearts and souls. Alastair is able to strike imagery in the mind of the reader in ways that only truly gifted writers are able to do, while holding to biblical integrity and gospel (literally) truth. If you’e not a Christian, this might a hard book to read. Just another fantasy novel by some religious guy. If you can past the fact that he speaks from a biblical perspective, you’ll see that he paints religion is the true enemy. Read the first book prior to this one in this series. It sets the foundation for what you are about to read.

I just finished this book and it's only been 4 days!!! Amazing story that grabs your attention and you can't put it down! Perfect follow up to the first "
Great book. This book reads as quickly as the first. Grabs your attention quickly and keeps it. Stewart Alastar gives us a view of the world around us like no one else has as he contiues with Peter Grant's journey. He gives us a different view of what's happening in our world. He makes you think about things in your life and question things you probably never would have questioned. It's hard to remember that this is fiction. It's great you will not be disapointed. I can't wait until the 3rd book is published.

After reading the first book (My conversations with the devil) I could not wait to see where the author (Stewart Alastair) would take Peter Grant this time. The first chapter, much like that of the first book, gets you hooked and feeling uncomfortably curious right away. I love the intensity of this good and bad drama and the parallel it has to our lifes. It really plays with the imagination and make you question your level of loyallty and faith in God. Loved it and can't wait for #3. Peace!
Wow! Just amazing. I am at a loss as how to describe the depth of this book in regards to the battle of good and evil that is continually occurring around us every minute of every day. This trilogy is a must read (even though book 3 hasn't been released). And if I could already purchase the next trilogy, I would. Just as the devil spoke to Peter Grant to become the "next big thing", God has clearly spoken to Stewart Alastair by giving him insight to a world that we can't even begin to imagine or describe.
Just finished it! I loved it!!! It’s an amazing and thrilling addition to the first book! The depth of the theology and the fiction as well as reading the epic battle playing out is absolutely exhilarating! Definitely check out the first book and then read this one! I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good read or a great look at theology and spiritual insight! I can’t wait for the next one!
